File setup
Send a PDF at 3.5 x 2 inches with 0.125 in bleed and crop marks. Keep live text 0.125 in inside the trim. Name your Pantone spots in the file if you want true spot-color printing — our preflight confirms every separation before the run.
Open Prepress checked
Every file is checked for bleed, color, fonts, and spot colors before it runs, so what you approve is what comes off the press. Learn more about our process.
Frequently asked questions
What is the standard business card size?
In the US, 3.5 x 2 inches. Build your file at that size with 0.125 inches of bleed on every side, and keep text at least 0.125 inches inside the trim so nothing sits against the edge.
What card stock should I choose?
14pt uncoated has a natural, writable surface and suits understated brands. 16pt gloss coated makes photography and saturated color pop. 32pt ultra-thick board is a statement card with real stiffness — the one people comment on.
Can you match my brand's exact Pantone color?
Yes. Declare your spot colors in the file and we run them as true Pantone separations, not CMYK approximations, so your brand color is consistent across every order and reprint.
Should my file be CMYK or RGB?
CMYK for process color, with any brand colors declared as named Pantone spots. Our preflight flags RGB elements before anything prints, so you'll know if something needs converting.
