Folding is where a flat sheet becomes a brochure, a mailer, or a greeting card, and where cheap finishing shows. We score before we fold, so heavy and coated stocks bend on a clean line instead of cracking through the ink.
Half folds, tri-folds, z-folds, and gate folds run in-house on the same schedule as the presses, so folded pieces ship as fast as flat ones.

Why do heavy stocks need scoring before folding?
Thick and coated papers crack along the fold if bent cold. Scoring pre-creases the fiber so the fold lands on a clean, controlled line.
What fold styles can you run?
Half, tri-fold (letter), z-fold, and gate folds as standard. Send the piece and finished size and we will confirm the right fold pattern.
Does folding add turnaround time?
Very little. It runs in-house on the same schedule as printing, so folded pieces ship on nearly the same timeline as flat ones.
